I have a daughter Linda, in Thunder Bay who absolutely insisted in me coming to this exercise program.  She works out at Curves and said that this would be very good for me.  I have never worked out at a gym a day in my life.  I would never have come on my own volition.  To be honest, I have never done anything that I have enjoyed as much.

 

I love all the kidding and kibitzing with the guys who work out with me and our time visiting in the morning coffee club.  My spirits have definitely been lifted.  My health has improved significantly and I highly recommend this for anyone.  I was bored with life and this is a real morale booster.

 

My health has improved, my mind has improved.  This has helped me with my depression, and increased my overall energy.  I also managed to lose weight and improve my circulation.  I have gained muscle and decreased my fat content.  I feel great!

 

This is really a celebration of my life!  I have worked out 300 times and today I received my Dimensions Fitness Jacket!  This also happens to be my 86th birthday.

If your looking for a competitive advantage over your buddy's on the golf course this year look no farther than yourself. In 30 minutes a day you can improve your golf game without even hitting a ball and you'll feel great doing it.  I started going to DiMensions on January 2nd of this year and right from day one found the atmosphere welcoming and enjoyable. The workout was different from any other gym I had ever been apart of there was no thinking involved just warm up start at a station and move every 30 seconds. You get a great workout at whatever effort level you want and the best part un like any other gym I have ever been to because I work out really hard and I'm not sore the next day! The staff are helpful and fun to be around and the other members are very supportive. After working out at DiMensions for 3 months I started off golf season more flexible, with more stamina, and would directly attribute these improvements to the fact that I was able to win my first professional tournament of the year. If you're a Junior golfer looking to play better, or a senior golfer who needs those 5 extra yards off the tee, or anyone in-between I would strongly recommend DiMensions to help you feel and golf great.

david_athansMy wife and I are snowbirds, residing in Vernon for the summer months and going south for the winter.  In July last year I was looking for a gym to start my weight training program for the summer.

After checking all the other gyms in Vernon, I arrived at DiMENsions. I walked in the door past the lady at the counter looked around the corner and saw what I thought was a 'Curves' gym for women. I headed for the door at a rapid pace only to be stopped by the lady at the counter who turned out to be Shelley, one of the owners. She asked if she could help me and I asked "Where is the gym for with the free weights and other equipment?" She laughed and told me I was in the right place and I had just seen the equipment used in their special program for men.

Seeing as that I was not impressed, she asked me to be open to at least hear about the program.  I don't mind admitting how surprised and impressed I was with the concept. I had to give it a try.

The results have been astounding! This program has given faster and better results in a shorter time than any other weight training program I have used.

I am 67 years olds and have attended a gym fairly regularly since I was sixteen. Recently I was diagnosed as prediabetic. My blood glucose had been climbing for the past four years and had hit 6.4. A reading of 7.0 is a diabetic. My doctor told me that I had to be more lean and fit and to modify my diet and to increase my exercise program.

In July of this year my blood glucose had reflected a drop to 5.4 and my cholesterol also went down and the doctor was amazed and delighted. I have lost 28lbs since starting the program last July and reduced my BMI and fat mass significantly. Hooray for Dimensions, and the great support of the staff. I am now in the best physical condition I have been in for a great many years.

lawrie_skolroodI used to play professional football for the Hamilton Tiger Cats and the Saskatchewan Rough Riders as a tight end and offensive tackle.  I have been a member of Dimensions Fitness Express now for approximately six months.

This style of hydraulic fitness workout has been around for a long time.  We used to use this type of equipment when I played professional football.  I had many injuries and the equipment helps you get back to pro sports in a fraction of the time.  The beauty of this style of workout is that it is fast, efficient and is a Total Body Workout, not just working my arms one day, legs next, cardio another.  I get all that I need in my 30 Minute Workouts, 3 times a week.

People generally shy away from this type of workout because they don't understand that it is not a wimpy workout, or they want to see how much weight they can lift, or see how strong they are.

After retiring in 2002 I had a significant weight loss, but by the fall of 2005 I was rapidly regaining it and I needed a way to reverse this trend.

The standard gym atmosphere held no attraction to me and when I read an article about Dimensions in the local paper it seemed like it might be the solution to my problem.

Ten months after joining I'm about 20 pounds lighter and have more energy and stamina than I've had in years.  This has been accomplished not with special diets, drinks or pills, but by using the well-designed exercise program and by following staff advice on the proper use of the equipment.

Given my results to date, I recommend Dimensions to anyone as it offers an excellent program with a first class, well-maintained facility along with a top-notch staff and management.
